Our first UPPA general meeting of the new year is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th.
Come early to grab a drink and mingle with friends! Our fabulous speaker, Anne Miller Morris, PhD, will begin promptly at 7pm. She will be discussing:
-Dealing with child anxiety.
-Parental depression/anxiety and its effects on children.
-How to talk to children about "bad" things when they happen - either personally or on the news.
Dr. Morris holds a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Southern Methodist University. Dr. Morris has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in a variety of settings.
After our speaker, we will get everyone caught up on all the great things happening in the UPPA for 2016-2017!!!
